| Painting is another way of communication : I had the will, I was going exhibitions, I had many friends who where painting and encouraged me to start, I had talked to my wife who played a great role in offering me the means to express... then I launched out into it. If I paint today, it is then essentially to have pleasure with it : I feel well ! | A gift of the self, friendship, an act of recognition, a way to look toward the others : I believe in Men, in his improvement, in communication between individuals. |

| It's true I'm quite interested in Art Brut. I receive many specialised art magazines, and glance at them rapidly, because I don't want to start copiyng the others. But I don't claim to revolutionize art. I am detached from any material restrictions, I have nothing to do with people who slave away to succeed : it is the cocoon side of me... | Paradoxically, I feel under-charged in my work sometimes. I am able to delegate many things, and I don't paint all the time : I havent't painted the last two months. I don't feel the need right now, since what I had done did not correspond to what I like. Therefore, I'am awaiting for some more pressure.
